Why Donate
Support a Creative Pixel Art Project
This project started with a simple idea: turn a small personal problem into something creative that people on the internet can build together.
Like many students, I finished my education with student debt. The plan was simple: study hard, get a degree, find a stable job, and slowly build a future. But the world changes quickly. Industries evolve, technology moves fast, and new tools like AI are reshaping many kinds of work.
Instead of seeing that only as a problem, I wanted to turn it into something creative.
So this pixel art donation project was born.
Inspired by Internet History
This project takes heavy inspiration from two famous internet experiments.
The first is r/place, where millions of people worked together on a giant shared canvas, placing pixels to create massive collaborative artworks.
The second inspiration is The Million Dollar Homepage, a legendary project where people could buy pixels on a webpage to advertise or leave their mark on the internet.
Both projects showed something powerful: small contributions from many people can create something huge.
This project combines those ideas into a new experiment.
Donate a Pixel, Become Part of the Artwork
The concept is simple.
When you donate, you can claim a pixel on the shared board.
Each pixel is tiny by itself, but together they slowly form a large collective digital artwork created by people from all over the world.
Think of it as a collaborative internet canvas where every donor leaves a permanent mark.
Why Your Donation Matters
Your donation helps in two ways.
First, it helps me pay off my student debt, which I genuinely appreciate.
Second, it helps grow this project into something bigger: a community-driven artwork made from thousands of small contributions.
No corporations. No big sponsors. Just people supporting a creative internet idea.
A Small Pixel With a Bigger Story
One pixel may not seem like much.
But thousands of pixels together can create something unique: a living piece of internet culture shaped by everyone who participates.
Every pixel represents someone who decided to support the project and become part of a shared experiment in online creativity and collaboration.
Thank You for Supporting the Project
If you decide to donate, thank you.
You are not just helping with student debt, you are becoming part of a growing collective pixel artwork inspired by the history of the internet.
And if you are just here to watch the board grow, that is perfectly fine too.
Either way, you are welcome here.
